Job Discription

  • Provide friendly and courteous customer service to guests, as well as to internal staff and external visitors
  • Answer phones to direct calls or messages
  • Direct traffic to parking spaces and the correct building entrance
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the reception area, including the use of hotel vacuums
  • Ensure that all signs, advertising materials, and visitor information are properly displayed
  • Check that all hotel equipment is working properly and deliver any maintenance requests to the appropriate person
  • Make sure that all restaurant orders are delivered on time
  • Order supplies when necessary, including paper products, cleaning products, or hotel supplies
  • Make sure that all restaurant items are properly labeled
  • Report any maintenance concerns to the front desk staff manager. This could include any issues with reception area, HVAC units, or other areas of the hotel.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures

Job Requirement

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude.
